NOVA 57080 DVR 2024 20-Inch x 24-Inch Electronic Variable Speed Wood Lathe delivers the most versatility of any 20" lathe on the market. It has an intelligent 2HP DVR motor with features such as chisel dig in safety sensing, programmable 10 favorite speed settings, out of balance work adjustment. And an exclusive world first Wireless Remote included as standard (for control wherever you want it, especially good for longer spindle work or large bowls where reaching the headstock can be difficult). Wood Lathes don't get more technologically advanced than this. With a very low speed of 100rpm up to an incredibly high 5000rpm, its the perfect solution for a wide variety of projects, from small pens to large bowls and platters. The NOVA DVR 2024 offers 20" swing capacity (expandable to 33" capacity outboard with optional outrigger accessory) and 24" between centers, expandable in 20" increments with the optional bed extension accessory. Solid cast iron throughout including stand, provides a stable and strong platform. Self ejecting tailstock for faster project set ups, forward and reverse, and full swivel head functionality complete the package. Available in 11/4"8TPI thread.
